My Homeowners Policy

I spoke with my assurance agent about updating the replacement

value of a few of my prized possessions.* Namely:

1) absolute truths

2) essential realities

3) eternal delights

He said "Don't worry (that's what He ALWAYS says). Even though

they seem to appreciate, it's because your vision is improving. Their value

always remains steady as a rock and they'll never need to be replaced

because they can never be lost . . . so trust me and don't worry

(that's what He ALWAYS says and what I'm learning to do).

"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy,

and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven,

where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." (Matthew 6:19-21)
