North Topeka’s choice for underground religious roots radio

KMTN: Welcome to KMTN Radio’s community contact call-in concert calendar broadcast.

How can I help you this afternoon, bro ?

CALLER: My question is how can you call yourself a “religious” radio station when your

concert promotion clearly goes against what the Bible says regarding such

practices?

KMTN: Uh. . . could you be more specific - please?

CALLER: Philippians 2:3 specifically forbids vain concerts . . .

KMTN: (the sound of New Testament pages quickly flipping . . .) The word following vain is actually - conceit.

CALLER: oh . . . [click . . . hummmmmmm]

KMTN: OK, on to our next caller. . . hey bro . . .

". . . then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in

spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility

consider others better than yourselves." (Philippians 2: 2-3)
