The Hallelujah Joy Band
I find that the song, “It’s All Coming to an End,” keeps returning to my thoughts, in perfect time with certain heartbeats. The sustaining hope of the Gospel was sustaining me long before I heard this song, so it never gave me cause to worry about the future. It was always hopeful.
Last night, after an end of the day conversation with some new friends, where we reflected on the aging (or maturing) process and how active it is in the lives of everyone we know, this song came back once again; this time to remind me of what is actually coming to an end.
Nothing coming to an end will be missed. Everything in this life that has never been as it was intended will be over. In the oft printed words of *Alfred E. Neuman, “What, me worry?”

*Alfred E. Neuman was never a member of the Hallelujah Joy Band . . . as far as I know.
